The student may acquire professional skills required for a qualification, in part or in full, by on-the-job learning. On-the-job learning is supervised and target oriented. It is based on a training agreement or apprenticeship contract. The implementation of studies is described in the personal competence development plan (PCDP).
On-the-job training is planned in cooperation with the student, the teacher in charge and the representative of the workplace. Training agreement or apprenticeship contract requires that the workplace has sufficient production or service activities and the necessary tools. The workplace instructor in charge shall be designated for the student.
On-the-job training may also further the student’s employment opportunities.
