This small-scale project combines professional development of teachers with LEAN management techniques, fostering aculture of ongoing improvement that benefits both teachers and students.- Improved teaching efficiency and effectiveness in vocational education and trainin- A culture of continuous improvement within the VET schools- Enhanced professional development and job satisfaction for teachers- Better learning experiences for students through more efficient and focused teaching methods.

Tavoitteet

We are starting the project by making a survey of LEAN teaching methods in partner countries and sharing best practices on LEAN teaching methods among our partners. After that we will develop LEAN Learning Workshops and a Teacher Mentoring Program. We will develop these, test them and develop a LEAN Teaching Programme. We shall ask feedback from teachers and students, and improve the tools and practices consequently. We shall ensure the dissemination and sustainability of the project results.

Tulokset

As a result of the project we shall have a LEAN Teaching Programme for VET providers and companies and shared
knowledge of LEAN way of teaching and learning.
Concrete project results will be:
- Survey of LEAN teaching methods in partner countries
- Portfolio of Best LEAN Practices
- LEAN Mentor’s Guide
- Pedagogical LEAN Teaching Toolbox for teachers
- Evaluation report of the LEAN teaching programme
- Sustainability plan of the project results and outcomes
